SOME of the booths offered the opportunity to experience drawing blood, view CT scans, listen to body sound and more with simulated patients, experience CPR with mannequins, practice air brushing makeup with funeral services, test balance and strength with physical Therapy, take blood pressures, K-9 visit with vet tech, visualize nutrition, proper hand washing for infection control, talk with various college reps about medical school, summer enrichment opportunities, and much more.
Harlan ARH sponsored lunch for all the vendors by providing pizza, chips, and deserts; the drinks were donated by the CocaCola in Middlesboro. Harlan ARH has sponsored and participated with each of our Health Careers Expo in Harlan past 6 years.
A special “Thank you” to all of our vendors and students who made this expo so fun and exciting.
